kéceramics Tiles

kéceramics have finally come full circle in its development. For the
urban planner turned ceramic designer, drawing geometric patterns on 3-D
round ceramic canvasses for the past decade have been both emotionally
fulfilling and financially self-serving. Venturing full-force into
handmade tile production now is basically going back to her urban
planning roots: working on ‘flat’ surfaces and working for architectural
enhancements.
Enjoy the pilot collection of kéceramic tiles, designed recently in
April 2004, for the architectural applications to kitchen
backdrops, bath mirrors, open bath walls, art corners, stair risers and
pool trimmings at Kéceramics new SOHO in Bukit Beruntung, Selangor
Malaysia. The pilot collection is aptly called
BERUNTUNG TILES.
BERUNTUNG TILES come in natural sandy tones of 2x2” sizes only, and
showcase crackled glaze effects as one of their main design features.
The crackled glaze effects, as used in the ever-popular celadon
potteries over many centuries, are purposely created to evoke a sense of
ancient & exotic, and to give the instant feel of delicate beauty and
fine craftsmanship of the products, yet at the same time, adding a
unique flair to modern house-scapes. The natural color tones allow them
to complement any contemporary architecture and with the melting glass
pieces highlighting the design motives, BERUNTUNG TILES are expected to
be a sure winner in Kéceramics ranges of products.
